Apollo Group Memberships
An Apollo Group is a collection of people who can be authorized for an application. For a EID to be added to a group, the individual must first meet any prerequisites for the authorization and an existing application owner must sign off. Removing a group membership may result in the EID losing access to multiple services, so care should be taken when requesting removal.
This page is accessible from the Apollo Authorizations section.
The screen below lists the employee's Apollo Group Membership authorizations:
- The Apollo Group name and a description are provided in the listing. To view any Apollo Applications this group is authorized for, click on the name of the Group. A window similar to this one will appear.
- Groups that require employee status for membership will automatically be removed if the employee separates from UT. But if they transfer to another shared services campus, the membership will remain.
- To remove a group membership, if authorized, click Request Removal; notification is sent to the group owners.
NOTE: Be absolutely certain that you wish to remove the authorization before clicking the link. - If the employee has more Apollo Group Memberships than can be displayed on a single page, click the Continue button () to view an expanded list. Use the Return to First Page of Results link to start the listing over.
- Click the up/down arrows () to reverse the order of any column. You will only be able to sort the list currently displayed on the page. If the Continue button appears at the bottom of the page, authorizations on subsequent pages will not be included in the sort.
